    EK2 maker CD

Could any owners of an EK1 or EK2 with the maker "CD" post some detailed photos of the center beading as well as the date (preferably the 1813 on an EK2)? I am looking for some comparison with the 3/4 ring RK. Tim Calvert had noted some similarities between the two, but I cannot accurtely compare with the photos available of "CD" stamped crosses on the site. Any would be great, or email of photos to cherri.hansen@mchsi.com. Thanks for any help !

        Thanks George!

That actually looks very similar at the upper part of the central beading, but the dates are quite different on the core. Here is a close-up of the 3/4 ring beading.
Does it appear as though there is a "filled in" area between the upper and middle horizontal strokes of the "3"? Thanks!

              Thanks George and Greg!

Those are similar enough to warrant further investigation. I saw that Carsten Baldes has an EK2- I will get it and hopefully have it in time for the SEM eval. That is very interesting! Thanks

Also, as I understand it, "CD" is also an unknown manufacturer?
