EK1 Screwback ... thoughts?

Hi there,

Thought I'd give WWI medals a try since there is a load of fakers for WW2, but having seen the Imperial fakes thread...not so sure!

If this is any good it will be my first 1914 EK1, what do you all think?

Stay away .Look at the "4" and the strange position of the "W".These kind of copy you can find every week at the german E-Bay.Screwback,pinback,different mm,they've got always the same core.....and the same with the EK2s!

I think Micha is right. I would stay away from this one

I wouldn't trust that one I'm afraid. Core details are very uneven and overall it just doesn't seem right.

As the others have said, a well-known copy I'm afraid.

Don't give up though there are plenty real ones around...
