I will take some straight innercorner pictures once I am back home on Sunday!

I agree the cross you had and the one Kay has now is a true beauty!

I am hoping to get one if those "Prototype Nr.1" crosses some day with 1813 frame...

But at the moment I am really satisfied with the cross I have which I named "Prototype Nr.2", and i think it will give me joy for a long time

    Best regards,
    Daniel

I think Kays cross you have pictures of is the original prototype Nr.1 and then its die has first been grinded/filed to smaller and narrower details which ended up in the original A-core look.
Kay has a good theory of this on his website.

The stepped core I have might be a version or even prototype Nr.2 (made of the Prototype Nr.1 die after the filing and grinding) which ended up as the final A-core after the steps were abolished.

        More ideas/theories will follow soon.
