    WW1 Black Wound Badge ?

Greetings to All, I was at a local Market today and found this WW1 BWB.
My question is, The stamped on hinge and short pin. Wondering if this is correct?
Also the size, It appears a little smaller that the ww2 era one.
approx 98% of the original paint has worn off.
    any Red Flags ??

    Thank You, CS

    Hi CS,

I'm not seeing any red flags. It appears to be a steel example?

WW1 WBs can be smaller than the much tighter regulated 2nd pattern 1939 WBs.

The badge looks on the small side so without an actual dimension it's hard to say whether you have a small regular example or a possible prinzen / large mini.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!
