Ek1 is it real? And if so who made it?

Picked up this cross at a garage sale for $13 and wanted to know if it was real or not, the quality of the core is impeccable, the beading is very well executed, and the pin is a bit odd but solid. It is magnetic and is of three piece construction, it appears to have been cleaned yet under the pin there is still quite a bit of patina (hard to see in the pictures)

It's a cross from the maker "Deumer", late WW1 edition.
