Bavarian Red Cross medal / ribbon bar

It's obviously Bavarian, but I've never seen any of these decorations before. Is anyone familiar with these decorations - what they are, and what period they're from?

Hi Chris,

these medals are 1. Bavarian Red Cross merit cross 2nd class and 2. and 3. Bavarian Red Cross long service awards for 40 and 25 years.

These medals are still awarded, they were first awarded in the fifties.

That makes sense - a "retro" styled bar. I knew they didn't look like any of the Weimar-era Bavarian Red Cross decorations that I had seen previously, and they're too "modern" looking IMHO to be anything earlier.
