Gents, Just saw this WW1 German iron cross 2nd class sell for an outrageous price...What is so special about it???? I don't believe it's marked .800 silver...Or was it just a case of bidders throwing $$$$ away???....Bodes

If this is the one that was going for over 273.00 yesterday it looks like just a bidding war between two guys with 0 feedback. I guess they are in a learning curve right now.

We can only dream. I had a model tank from the early sixties that got in a bidding war - sold for 450.00 (150.00 max), I was in pig heaven.
