    Order of the White Falcon

    Hi,

Anybody here has info about this specific award, like what grade it is and how
many were made and anything you can think of about this "medal" and it's
    lovely family.

This image is I think taken from the forum ( maybe it was Claudio Ortelli who
posted it back then, can't remember ).

Now here is another image, this one was taken from Hermann Historica.

While they are very much alike, I see some differences that are quite
    noticeable.

So my question is how many of these awarded and how many makers made it
    to have such differences.

    Best regards,

    Ran

I honestly have no clue how many were made of this grade, but knowing how scarce the lower grades were, there couldn't have been but a handful.

It is the breast star of the Grand Cross. It was not awarded by itself, but with the sash badge. It was awarded in this style from 1815 to 1918, so there were probably several variations in manufacturing.

Four Grand Crosses without swords were awarded in World War One. I have no idea how many were awarded between 1815 and 1914.

The maker should be "Th. Müller Hofjuwelier Weimar", the court jeweler for the Grand Duchy.

            Hi Ran,

These pictures, judging from their quality, are coming from Hermann Historica Auction House's catalogues... (www.hermann-historica.de)

            Ciao,

            Claudio
