How would I best proceed in finding out about the careers of some officers I am looking for?

It concerns these prussian officers:

Hauptman Kurt Anker, Nachrichtenoffizier in the Staff of CP Wilhelm
Major von Zobeltitz, Ordonanzoffizier in the Staff of CP Wilhelm
Major Otto von Müller, Adjudant to the CP Wilhelm
Major Otto Graf von Solms-Wildenfels, Adjudant to the CP WIlhelm
Major Viktor Schimpff, before WWI militairy teacher of the CP, die 1920s
Major Edgar von Hellermann, Adjudant to the CP Wilhelm (Prewar?)
Major Max, Edler von der Planitz, Adjudant to the CP Wilhelm

For decoration I would check the 1914 Imperial German Prussian Ranklist. If you do not have one check the Internet.

Well I tried to find them on the internet several times. But they werenot there. Or would you mean they are not there fulltext, buit I should buy the Rangliste?

Internet will not really bring a good result.
If You want to go deep in this stuff You need a good 20 kilos of reference books!

a 1914 ranklist for sure is helpful for the peacetime awards. For the WW1 stuff are some award lists around, but not at all everything.
