    Ribbon bar

I have a black-and-white photo of Major Louis von Müldner, one of the aide de camps of the German Crownprince during WWI. On his uniform there is a set of ribbons. I would like to know if someone could figure out which decorations are present.

The photo is placed on my webgroup on Crownprince Wilhelm groups.yahoo.com/groups/crownprincewilhelm

    David,

The web address you supplied seems to work, but only group members can see anything. Can you make the image visible to non-members?

    All the best,

    David

        Müldner von Mülnheim

        David,

I am assuming that his full name is Müldner von Mülnheim?

The 1914 list shows him as the adjutant of the 4. Garde-Infanterie-Brigade with:

        Crown Order 4th Class
        Reuß Honour Cross 3rd Class
Schaumburg-Lippe House Order Honour Cross 4th Class

        Regards
        Glenn

            Dear David,

I send you a higher quality scan this morning. Hope you can delete this one and place the new one.

            Thanks

              David,

Georg it appears is the officer listed above. I don't think Louis of F.R. 39 had any at the beginning of the war. Both however were recipents of the Knight's Cross of the Hohenzollern House Order during the war.

              Regards
              Glenn

                Dear Glenn,

Sorry if I was not very clear. Georg was the FR 39 Bataillonschef and Oberstleutnant a.D., Louis was the Aide to the Crownprince and Major, the same one shown on the photo. Me in my ignorance assumed as the elder (Oberstleutnant Georg) left the army in a higher rank, he would have been higher awarded then his younger brother (Major and Adjudant Louis).

                David

                  Hi David,

I have replaced the old image with the new one. Unfortunately, it is a bit small.

It has been suggested to me that you should scan the image again at 240dpi and to 700 pixel on the longest side size. I'm sure some more information will be forthcoming.

/David (Frosch, not the other one)

However I will put a bigger scan of the photo (without a name for the time being), I would like to put a link here to see a photo of the other brother so Louis in your view and Georg in my view.. the photo is not quite clear, but maybe someone can tell me more about the uniform he is wearing.

                    Regards

                    David

                      Hi David,

I came across this entry in the Stammliste of Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 76 published in 1902 which I thought you might find interesting.
