I just bought my first Gallippoli star. Any idea of a maker? Or timeperiod?

Hi where did you bought it?
I am not sure, but the thurgra is made were bad.
I think it could be a recent fake of an EH.

Have a look around, sometimes you can find those silver versions at sellers and auctions for ~ 300 - 350 EUR

In my opinion the prices are falling. I could get 2 very nice ones for a good price.
I hope to get a Godet or JWS one, soon.

Sorry to say this but I don't like this TWM either. One thing for sure that those bastards are getting better everyday in making more believable pieces.

Yes - a big problem. The fakes are going better and better

Well, nothing surprises me anymore.. The enamel work made me believe the star was original. Only the catch looked a bit odd, but these are made in a long period. Thank you guys, I'll let seller know the bad news..
