Ribbon Id help needed..

Sorry the bar is upside down.. Is the ribbon on the photo's right a Red Eagle award? and what is the solid reddish ribbon for?? Thanks Mike

Hi Mike,

The first ribbon is Red Eagle or General Honor Decoration. Not sure about the reddish one.

Most likely the General Honor Decoration. Given the location of the reddish one look for a state ribbon.

I'm thinking Reuss non-commbattent in fourth place. There are four possibilities I can think of for the first ribbon and at least three for the second. We will never know what truly belongs on this bar.

I think it is fairly possible given the lack of other awards. This bar must be to an NCO or minor civilian functionary of some sort with reservist time. The Centennial and LS ribbons place his service from 1897-1913ish at a minimum. The blue ribbon is too dark to be a Crown Order. Unless you think everything else has moved up to his neck. I wish Rick was still with us.
