Educated opinions would be greatly appreciated.
The loop is 750 (18k gold) and W for the Jeweler/maker?
I have had it tested and it is gold for whatever that's worth.

I am not sure that you are going to get a large number of well based responses, as most (myself included) are not familiar with the older versions of the PLM.

I forgot to mention it and I'm not sure the reverse picture shows it very well, but the enamel on the reverse side shows some wear including a small chip indicating this award was worn.
