A nice catalog nonetheless
Common . . . not really. Copies can be found touted as originals at despicable prices.
Within the last three years I have many seen copies to be had, on eBay and at dealers websites. It's like the Assman catalog . . . years can go by without seeing them, then you can't go looking for militaria without seeing one.
Tis a pity that other manufacturers catalogs be they original or copy don't show up as much.

I have been in search of catalogs with limited success. While my focus has been on pickelhaube, I find a search to be a bit frustrating. I have a copy of the 1914, DOV catalog. It is a reprint apparently done in <ST1lace w:st="on">Europe</ST1lace> somewhere in the 70s. I have an undated photo copy of part of a catalog that I bought on eBay that certain it looks like an extract of an earlier version of the DOV catalog. Recently I have acquired the original catalog from Matthias Müller. This catalog is also undated. However, obviously is prewar. It's absolutely wonderful, Saxon, and mostly having to do with every little piece of imperial militaria with very little coverage of pickelhaube. It's 80 pages long, parts of it was used in the Kraus book, but I'm not so sure he has a full copy of it. I'm thinking of getting off my rear, writing a introduction, and reprinting this book. It's really that wonderful. I started this catalog search while I was writing the article on the cost of a pickelhaube. Amazingly, I got a separate flyer from Müller, that was for the sale of pickelhaube. He offers a rebate. If you pay in cash! Somehow I don't think he took American Express -- -- --Attached Files
