    Ww1 pictures and postcards

    Hello all,
    i bought some ww1 pictures.
    Are there collectors of ww1 pictures in this forum.

    I tried to post some pictures on another part on the waf,and that didn't work.
    So if u want to see them i can send them by email
    Maybe someone can help me identifie the pictures

    You need to became an association member before you could post pictures here, that is quite an easy thing and has a lot of advantages for you Contact therefor a forums moderator

      Hallo Matt,
      normally i could post pictures ,but i fotgot how it's done .
      I've got a account at imageshack,but it has been a long time ago that i used it.

      But you mention the association membership,...how does that work ?

              Hello Casper,

              You picture does not have any clues in it as to what unit this soldier might be in. The shoulder straps are left plain by the artist, so there is no possibility of an identification. There were some units that had plain shoulder straps (that is, without numbers or devices), like the Garde, for instance. But Garde troops would have collar Litzen, which are absent in this depiction.

                This is one of the other pictures i bought,too bad its damaged,but it's an original.
                On the shoulderboards is the number 31.











                I also bought a french and a english soldier,those were included in the deal.
                There were some ww2 german pictures within the deal,that was the reason why i bought them.
                Normally i only buy ww2 related items,but i liked the ww1 too.
