      Looks like a good Type B cross. Commonly associated with Godet but other
      makers are known to have used that core design.

          Totally agree. The case is a broken Prussian KO3/4 case, it seems to me.

                      My personal opinion is that these crosses were made after the Berlin Iron Foundry
                      closed in 1874. I know that we have seen a few different makers associated with
                      these cores but I think that Godet either started to produce them or had the produced for them after they could no longer get cores from the Berlin foundry.

                      I have no problem believing that these were made in the 1870s thru perhaps the
                      1890s.
