    My first Pour le Merite

This one arrived this morning. Attributable to Gen Lt von Vett being awarded in October 1918. It can only go downhill from here, I can never beat this one.

Stunning cross with the typical die flaws! Condition is top notch.
When i first saw the add i recall it was offered with some picture albums.

Yes, sold separately. It would have been nice to keep them together, but there are 8 photo albums. I have no idea what they will go for|!!

            Perfect and magnificent Jim.

An attributable, award-type PLM? It doesn't really get better, you're right.

Plus you've got one in superior condition, totally textbook, with an authentic ribbon.

            Big congratulations
            Best regards,

It does seem to promise more in the future, doesn't it?

This would have to rank as one of the crowning acquisitions for an Imperial collector or any collector of medals and awards. The rest of us can only dream!

What is the die flaw? Where does one look on the cross for it?
