    NonCom EK2 Ribbon Bar

I picked up this bar a while back on ebay but missed the medal bar to a higher bidder (but I can show its picture in the next post).

I seem to remember Rick L. pointing out that Beamten received their active duty LS medals after 1920 (or was that just for Landwehr who served through the war and were then eligible)? Is this more apt to be a mid twenties bar as opposed to late war?

          Absolutely gorgeous!

I must say I like this recent wave of non-combatant EK's appearing on the market recently.

            Me too!

Recently, I was able to purchase a large collection of Non-Combattant & Medical bars from Württemburg. The condition and quality were exceptional and I have had access to some great pieces. I always find the NC type bars as interesting, if not more so due to the chances of getting some pieces that are really obscure.
One of the bars was a miniature ribbon bar with pinback. I think the ribbons were only 4mm. wide on a bar of 8 awards!
