The reverse has lots of writing on but alas, very little is readable. 1917 and (I think) A205 is all I can make out . Ferg

it's just the cloth equivalent of the Fliegerabzeichen , but have to say I never saw * any original one before this one - my real congratulations

Its an oversize badge ,not meant for wearing on uniform. Probably made for a veterans flag or some such or memento for funeral . Or even just a privately made patriotic thing. First one is better quality with fine chain stitching. Ferg
