    Hello and welcome,

The first picture you attached is of a party armband . A shot of the back would be more helpful (of the badge, that is). Wound badges are a fairly new area for me, but I would like to give my opinion after you post the back.

        Henrik-

In my opinion, it is a very nice example of a private purchase badge. The quality looks good and the fastening set up is right too. Wait for confirmation from some others that have been collecting these longer than I. Maybe I am seeing things, but are there any letters on the back of the helmet, just to the left of the lug?

Thanks for the opinions guys, they are very appreciated! Were all cutouts private purchased?

Any other members who has any views or points to add?

Yes, to the best of my knowledge they are all private purchase. Solid examples were the standard as it was less time consuming and more cost-effective to bypass the additional steps necessary to punch out the pebbled area. The cut outs were more of a "fashion statement" than anything else.

                Hello Henrik,

It looks good to me too.

I saw a nice silver wound yesterday but wasn't sure about the quality on the reverse, but comparing it with your good one, I know I did the right thing leaving it there.
