    Prinzen Zimmerman

Today was a pretty good day. I had the day off work and the sun was shinning
so I hopped on my bike and put about 70 miles on and when I got home, this
    was waiting for me.

It's a bit rough but IMO the rarity of it makes up for the condition issues
and it will fit nicely between my Deumer and Meybauer prinzens

Perhaps you should go riding more often.

              Thank you, Gentlemen
I usually pass over 1914 Ek2s in favor of finding a nice 1st class
but I do like the to find the rare or odd variations.

A great find, Greg, I congratulate.

What makes this EK-II highly interesting (to me), is its triangular ribbon, indicating that it belonged to an Austrian soldier.

Looking at the ribbon's obverse, this seems as having been produced in 1917-'18.

                    Best wishes,

                    E.L.
