Gallipoli Star, Eiserner Halbmond, good or bad?

What do you think about this Star of Gallipoli? Is this a good, original Piece? Price is 210 Euro. I have only one " eiserner Halbmond " in my collection , but I am also looking for a "painted " Piece.

Seems not bad to me, most of the painted pieces got poor conditions as I know, at least in my opinion. I'm not deeply expert on this.
If I need painted one, I would consider to buy one like that.

The distinctive back side imprint is listed as an original design in Demir Erman's book. I agree with Jamie, this one will look as a bad apple when displayed along with the other ones and it is not cheap.

I wouldn't buy it personally. The condition is dubious. The tugra obverse looks ok but the date bar is wiped out? No wear to the paint?

Most probably fake. The seller tried to imitate Lüdenscheid makers in this case Steinhauer & Lück or Ernst Schneider (the mirror image) and painted it. The needle do not comply with the Turkish or above mentioned makers type. Avoid it and remember the name of the seller.

He is a commercial seller - by german laws, he has to take it back since 2 weeks if you dont like it.
