Unfortunately foreign decorations were no longer listed in Austro-Hungarian army lists at the time of this photograph.

If you look at the top of the cross, you can see the monogram from the danish king at the time the recipient got the medal.

in the meantime my co-webmaster had already identified it. Apparently awarded to the Colonel in the Spring of 1904.
