    Ribbon bar help--Please

    Does some one know what the #3 ribbon might be?
    I looked through all the Bavarian threads I could find but I did
    not see one with the colors reversed like this one.

      Thank you very much
      That is one I had never heard of before.
      Here is a picture of the full bar. I had assumed that the #4 and #5 medals were
      both Luitpold jubilee medals but now that I have seen your chart, I am guessing
      that one could be the order of St. Hubert.

      Could this bar have belonged to a Bavarian royal?

        I think this ribbon represents the Prince Ruprecht medal that was awarded up until 1933. I feel that makes more sense based on its position on the bar. It would be rare to see the higher orders behind an EK2 /MVO and I am taking war time vs. peace time award positioning into account. Still- an exceptional post 35 Bavarian bar. Own it with pride!

          I am inclined to agree. The Prince Rupprecht medal would make more sense.
