    Hi, I am cautious but hopeful on this one, I have seen this marriage before of an observer type badge used as an air gunner ,the star burst adds a bit of 'bling' to the badge, this was a rare but known variant. Seems to be a Juncker front detail to crown and wreath as with the reverse plate. Has unguarded pin hinge and no MM indicating ( unconfirmed) it was sold through non Juncker outlet .There is an unusual double strike 'ghost image ' on the reverse at top of crown well which caught my attention,could just be double strike flaw.... or not. What does worry me a little is the dull detail of the eagle and target and more than that the two holes on the target that look like they could be casting blow holes. I would really like it in hand to make a 100% opinion. Ferg
