SA and Imperial

With the wonderful help and advice from the fellows here at Imperial forum, I
completed my SA brownshirt. It's accompanying anodized dagger scabbard is somewhat rusty, so I needed awards that showed appropriate age. The combination of SA and Imperial is quite attractive. The private purchase wound badge has nice detail.

SA + Imperial

As requested, here is more photos of the Motor-SA uniform. After 1934, Motor-SA no longer existed, as they were absorbed into the NSKK. I traded an NSKK dagger with a repainted scabbard for this lovely shirt. It was the end of the gun show, and then I went 2 tables down, and bought the dagger for $50. It was a good day. The dagger, as marked on the crossguard "Fr" for Franken was intended for this Franken (Nurnberg) shirt. The SA color-coded their collar tabs for each Gruppe. The shouldboard was missing when I bought the shirt, and it took over 20 years to find the appropriate one. The Imperial awards are the icing on the cake - thanks fellas!!
NOTE: The sulphur-yellow collar tabs are NOT faded like the photo suggests - they're intense, vibrant yellow like the yellow emoticons. They almost glow.

Still more...this early dagger was made by a rare cottage-maker named Leupold. He was a Jewish fellow making daggers for the SA. Go figure.

Shirt is a long pull-over, unlike most brownshirts, which are short-waisted. I really like the tiny shell buttons on the front. Also - a better pic of collar tab.

Very nice setup. I agree he needs a ribbon bar with at least a WW1 EKII ribbon on it as well as other awards
