It is. Look at that one closely as somebody has been marking fake flight badges with a pseudo Meybaur mark in the past 10 years-but this looks fine to me.
Merry Christmas -and the Silesian Eagle is spiffy! Nice enamel type.

Thanks guys- it's obvious that Santa reads these forums before he goes shopping for me.
                Merry Christmas.

Darrel, this collecting stuff is way too important to leave in the hands of the wife. She only has to pay for the stuff, I research it.

                          Nice!

                          Very nice
                          I scored this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books

And Ailsby's TR "Combat Medals" book.

But nothing as cool as those two awards. Lucky man D, very lucky. You musta been really good this last year.

In my stocking was a little box, I said as I opened it:

"hmm...too small for a Pickelhaube?" and inside was a little coupon that said:

"Good for one Pickelhaube to a max of $1K Cdn".

I almost passed out. My wife had saved all year for it.

                              Tony,

I would have passed out too if I had gotten your coupon. Mine said, "you spend another dime on that collection and you might not live to see next Christmas!"
