Cap Tally for the School Ship that trained officers for the German Merchant Marine. Sister Ship of the "Deutschland", same three masted schooner design. I think this one went to Poland after the war. Nice period piece unless the Poles are selling them as souvenirs. I visited the Deutschland. They were selling baseball hats, but did have various Historical cap tallies on display in one of the Officers cabin. This one is consistent with the style that I saw on display.
