EK1: Help with maker identification

I acquired this EK1 with a group of TR militaria. My expertise is in TR medals/badges/awards; however, I would like to determine the maker of this badge. My research has come up with a blank, so thought I would throw it out there for the experts.

There is no maker info on the case - the only mark is a "Y" on the reverse side of the attachment pin.

Would much appreciate any info anyone is willing to share. Thank you!!
