    Prussian Lifesaving (2)

Here's another Prussian lifesaving medal for review. I think it's original and looks nice and I'm thinking about buying it, but I would appreciate a second opinion.

    many thanks

Very nice, have been watching this set as well.
Not so often to see a full size medal on button hole device.

            Thanks for you replies

The third type of the lifesaving medal (1875-1907) was made by the "Loos'sche Medaillenmünze" until 1881 and by the "Königliche Münze Berlin" from 1881-1907.
Am I right that the medal pictured in the first post is a later, i.e. Berlin model of the third type? Because the ribbon ring has the same size as on the fourth type (1907-1918), which is also made by "Königliche Münze Berlin".
There exists a third type (1875-1907) with a larger ribbon ring, which must be the earlier Loos model then, am I correct?
Below is a table I mde myself. The thing is, however, I'm not quite sure if the one on the right is the third type (1875-1907) or the second (1865-1875).

feuerwehr-orden.de show another one with a large ribbon ring, but they say this is the second type (1865-1875), which should have a cross with 4 "balls", although this is not clear on the picture.

Does anyone know what the second (blue) ribbon in the buttonhole device is? I thought it was from a long service award, but if you look closely you can see that it has black stripes at the edges.

Is it a prussian 9-years service award for the army?

Its a Prussian long service ribbon. Impossible to tell which one.
