WW1 Imperial EK1 Iron Cross screwback clamshell, original and value? Help!

    Hello,

I was just about to pick this up and was wondering what you all thought. The EK1 is unmarked on the reverse, has a clam shell screw-back and is in quite good condition. I have never seen this variant before and was wondering if this looked original, as well as what the going rate is for them. (apologies for photos in advance!)

    Cheers!

Thanks Don! What would be the going rate for this cross?

Yes, I would also agree a good Deumer.

These are not that rare and is probably the most common screw-back to be encountered. Most likely from the 1930's era. I would think €140 - €160 market price.
