maybe
Iron Cross from Prussia is on the left. Not rare at all.
Fifth from left is the Brunswick War Merit Cross, 2nd Class with Frontline service clasp. With the clasp this is rare, but not overly expensive.

4th from left looks to be an Order of Albert the Valiant from Saxony. This is a valuable medal. get other opinions though
the ones on the right are service awards and not very valuable

There are a number of awards of the Verdienstorden, especially in late 1918, missing from the published rolls, so the number is probably a little higher than the 37 you've found so far, Christophe.
The Bewährungsabzeichen to the Braunschweig KVK was only awarded to non-Braunschweig citizens in a very few exceptional cases. The most common exception was serving in a Braunschweig formation, but this wouldn't apply to a Saxon officer. So although a Saxon officer, he likely kept his Braunschweig citizenship. A native Braunschweiger attending university in Leipzig might have done his one-year volunteer time there, thus ending up a reserve officer in a Saxon regiment.
No Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung, so not an active or E-Officer unless he went active in late 1939. Probably a reserve officer.
