I've owned them like this and seen others.....going back well over 30 years and one at least from a family in Germany. I have never doubted these in the dark red cases with this type flocking.

I sold one that looked at lot like the one (maybe that one??) posted, to a dealer about 20 years ago.

The ones that I have seen like this are always covered in real leather.....most if not every other EK case that I have seen including RK cases of the Third Reich are in imitation leather.

I've never seen an asymmetrical EK1 case I thought was correct. Can you show a few angles of the case without the cross inside please?
