Depending on the price (low ) I would take a shot at it:

Positive:
+ Maker? Mark "H.Geeraerts" looks believable
+ engraving under the pin.

Negative:
- what an ugly design of a chicken.

Weitze has one for sale, a bit high for me though...

Very similar to one another, eagle silver on one brass on the other, eagle heads are different, crown details are also different also one brass the other silver. Looks like badges were made by different makers
