Interesting new arrival

Greetings all,

Just arrived is this interesting EK emblem? ,not sure what its original purpose was.

Some ideas are, Photo album ,cigarette tin, or something else.

It is one piece stamped magnetic metal and the frame section has traces of "silvering" core area is painted. The split pin attachment seems to be "as constructed" but the ring (non magnetic) has been added.

Any help on this is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Interesting piece.
I would guess that the ring was probably added in the
60s for use as biker/surfer jewelry .

it's an applique for an album or ek2 case, the ring would have been there with the ribbon through it in a V form
