EK2 suspension ring mark Iron Cross Second Class

Okay: I can find the lists of makers initials for the 1914 Iron Cross Second Class, but the mark on the ribbon suspension ring for this one has me baffled. It is a shape, for sure, but a shape of what? It doesn't appear to be letters. Thanks for any info!

Here's the mark enlarged a bit and rotated to show it from different angles.

Notice that the ribbon on your "Fr" looks to be identical to the
        ribbon on your 1870.

        Nice Ek2

Great looking 'Fr' with an earlier type cast core.

Those "makers marks" can be a real challenge to decipher sometimes if one doesn't have another to compare to.

          Thanks for sharing,
          Scott
