    castle weapons

    On my visit to some castle 's i also found that if the castle was not plundered throe the wars that came over Germany and Europe ,

    castle weapons ..... are highly interesting ...especially I found some sword's i did not know existed ,

      i absolutely hate the way the item are lighted in musea and catls like this ..

      they make it wryly imposable to photograph nicely .

                      Nice display.

                      I believe the shield and sword on the left in post #1 are 18/19th century Siamese or Burmese. The serrated edge on the scabbard is made I think of crocodile teeth and was also used as a weapon. I've seen a similar one in the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

                            its the Burg eltz near Cochem Germany

                            and ReichsBurg Cochem ...

                            the nice weapons and treasure are only to see at the Burg Eltz
