Ribbon ID Help Needed....

I was just going through some items and came across this ribbon I've had for some time.

Does anybody know what it's for???

Dosen't black light & appears period made, approx 21mm wide and it's a 44cm long piece.

I know it's not a TR ribbon, maybe Imperial? Weimar?? Veterans Group???

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't tell the color is it a dark navy blue or black? If it's navy blue it could be for a miniature U.S. Navy Cross.

It's definitely black w/a white stripe.

I can't for the life of me figure it out. It came w/some other German items awhile back ,so I always assumed it was Germanic.

I saw this ribbon last night//night before on an ebay link but lost it I will try to recover it

I have seen one like it- a unique/rare/unusual regimental silver medal awarded for bravery (1917), complete with the details enscribed on the back!-and part of a 4 piece medal bar that sold on ebay.de 3 years ago (I keep lots of notes).

Sold on ebay.de last year (3oo E!) part of a 4 part bar: EK2,HKx, Reg. medal,LS9

Silver medal-similar to the general honour medal (silver coin type) enscribed:
Fur unerschrockenes Vehalten beim Ausbesses einer Fernsprechleitung in feindlicher Feuer" I.R. 97.
I assumed a regimantal, local made award handed out with the regimental bravery diplomas (like Hitler got).
