Here are a couple of nice "home front" items "aus der Kaiserzeit"....Firstly a glass ashtray w/ embossed (impressed), EK design in the base. Second, a very nice pair of home-front jewelry pieces, one being a nice "sabot" ring type bracelet, marked "KJAG" and "D.R.G.M" w/ nicely detailed oak leaf and Iron Cross design. The other piece, a small "sabot" type finger ring, is also marked to "KJAG" as well as "58" on the interior. It too carries the Iron Cross motif. Both jewelry pieces are in very, VERY nice shape and appear to have never really gotten much mileage. The ashtray has a small chip to the edge of the base, and a few "straw marks" (typical w/ rather low quality pressed glass), but otherwise remains in nice shape, although it DOES show some signs of having been used. I come across these patriotic pieces from time to time, and have always liked them. A couple of quick snaps below if you care to peruse them....
