    Help identify EK1 Screwback

Does someone know who made my cross.
Looks like '800' marked under the catch.
Crown reminds me of 'MEH' or 'WS'.
    Thanks, John

        Thank you.
I see in the Maerz Stimson book they made the 1914 screwback.
Any idea what era mine is ? WWI, '20's, TR ?

          Hi John,

I'd put yours in the interwar period.

The EK1 in the M/S book is from the WWII period and used a different frame and core.
          Best regards,

            Thank you much.
Got me wondering so did a quick search and seems they
            were in business since 1871.
Did they make any of the 1870 crosses or earlier ?

Not that I were aware of. They were mainly a maker of medals, their production of badges and awards started later, from what I've seen.
