    Looking for any help with this one please.
    Also have his Soldbuch.
    I really have trouble with this form of script-Not even sure of his surname??
    Any help would be very much appreciated

          The name is Röwer. What else do you want to know specifically? There is a lot to translate.

            To me, the most interesting thing is he served, in combat, from 1914-1918 and was never wounded. A minor miracle.

              Johann, Karl, AUGUST Roewer was born Sept. 13, 1893 in Gaste near Osnabrueck, was a factory worker who entered the army Oct. 9, 1914 and was in the field by Dec. 24. The rest of the Kriegs-Chronik lists the various battles and locations where he was. He received the EK 2 on Oct. 9, 1916.

                      Sorry, his father's profession was "Landstraßenwärter". His profession was "Fabrikarbeiter" - faktory
