two welcome presents

first a first copy of my english version of blue guide 2 ,,

And ,,,,,a wallet of a Eugen Zimmerle Oberst Leutnant or Major of the Royal Würtenbergisches Arterllerie . 1868 /1870/71.

Wonder if the man earned a Iron cross .

any way hope you guy's like it .

The first rank mentioned is Oberleutnant. Then Oberleutnant and Hauptmann are marked through and Major written above. Below that is "A gift from my dear wife". Nice item to have.

According to Bretzendorfer, he did, and also added an KO3 in 1885. No other non-Württemberg awards are mentioned.
