WW1 German Wallet with Royal(?) Cypher

Here is a wallet made in Vienna - a WW1 bring-back item with a Crown and Monogram. Does anyone recognize it? I can't even find a European crown that resembled this one.

Here's another possible lead. This is from an online version of Heraldry of the World - the Chapter on Germany and Austria. It shows this style of Crown as being used by untitled nobility.
