    Modified Observers badge.

    Anyone have seen something like this before ?

    looks cool and i think marking is correct ?

      Wow, they are getting very inventive. A buddy of mine collects Skulls, He would love this in spite of the fact the fact it's a fantasy piece.

        It's a common attraction presented and offered on ebay for quite a while now. Catering to all tastes the location of the skull varies but the general idea stays the same. Another thing they have in common is they're all reproductions.
        Marking is wrong too.

                Talking of modified observers, here's a bit of fun. Who can spot the mod. on this Juncker ? I am not referring to the later enamel centre device ,something else ! This one is original too.

                      Yup, you got it ! It is one of those badge that asks more questions than it answers, but logically I imagine it was quite substantially damaged and skilfully repaired post war ,I say post war as the enamel device is probably 20's or 30's. The crown is not an example that I have seen on a pilot badge from any period.Ferg.
