Is this U boat badge a fake?

Hi everyone, I recently found this badge in a drawer while I was packing to move house. I remember picking it up a few years ago. It doesn't look genuine to me, can anyone confirm from the pics if it is a copy?

I can't confirm but I agree that it looks a bit suspect with soft detail. Eventually I'll move the thread to the Imperial section for more comments.

Yes, this one does look dodgy. Has a bit of bow damage, a different pin, and melty details to crown and stern flag.
