I watched the auction for this cased 1870 EK1 this morning and wondered if it had a chance. I thought the case interesting and might have a possible chance. The cross I would be interested in your thoughts.

For reference it made someone US $571.50 poorer.
Several questionable crosses at that auction IMO.

I saw the auction last night. I have dealt with the seller before, so I sent him an e-mail telling him the cross and case (imo a converted jewelery case) were bad. I was disappointed but not surprised to see the auction had not been ended.
On the other side of the coin, an idiot who bids that much for such a well known (easily researchable) fake deserves what they get.

Very true Mike, Auction seemed a bit dodgy to me with the last couple of bids placed from bidders with O feedback
I would say seller still has this one.
