    German POW in France

    gentlemen,

i do not want to miss the oportunity to present my latest blog-project to you.

i deals with the memories of a german soldier of RIR27 who became POW in the moment fort douaumont was recaptured by the french (24.10.16).
The blog gives a deep inside view of the last two days of german occupation, his time as a german PG (prisonnier de guerre) and the time after the war was lost.
He was sent home in 1920. In 1919 he tried to escape, but was captured after 100km.

Unfortunately i will only present it in german, but i guess an online-translater does a good job.

hope to see you soon at: pg-grau.de
