HI. I'm starting a research project connected to pre-WWI German history, and would like to ask you for some possible tips regarding nowadays German archives. I'm planning to make a query and gather source archival data on the issue of exportation of Mauser rifles and carbines by Germany to Mexico before and during the Mexican revolution - exportation licenses to private companies, contracts, official correspondence etc. Anyone has an idea what archives could hold this type of info? I assume this area was under the responsability of the Ministry of Economy, but certainly they were not the only involved. Or maybe you know of some historian/author in Germany dealing with a topic close to this?
