Can someone please help with the inscription on this medal.
I tried an online translation and this is what I got
"great experience makes awesome and laid in the heart,Kaiser willhelm 11 1916"
does not really make sense so perhaps someone could fine tune it for me

The Germans on here might get it more precisely.

But, I would say that it loosely translates as something like...

Great experiences transform and make the heart strong.
