    What is this ribbon? It is very narow and set up like a neck ribbon.

    i would say, that it is definately not german.
    could it be from eastern euro or the balkan?

      Austrian Order of Merit Type II (post 1952) for a lower commander grade is my guess!

          Both!

          The Austrian order of Maria Theresa also has this style of ribbon.

              I would say Italy Order of the Crown or a Spanish Military Merit Order.

              Mount as neck ribbon makes no sense for the Spanish one, so my best guess is Italy.
